Order and Refund Policy - Group Sessions

Last updated: 28 September 2026

This policy applies to all Group Sessions offered by Christine Livingstone. Individual event pages may contain additional event-specific information such as the session date, time, duration, price, capacity and online platform.

1. Booking and Payment

Group Sessions are booked through the designated booking platform.

A booking is confirmed only after payment has been successfully completed through the available payment method and the booking platform has issued a booking confirmation.

Payment alone does not guarantee a seat if a booking confirmation has not been issued.

There is no temporary seat reservation or manual payment-request period.

2. Payment / Booking Problems

If payment has been successfully completed but a booking confirmation is not received, please contact care@christinelivingstone.com or submit a ticket as soon as possible.

Please provide details to assist us with identifying your booking, such as

  1. your name,
  2. the session date and
  3. your payment confirmation or transaction reference,
  4. or attach the proof of payment from the payment processor.

A seat is not considered confirmed until the booking has been verified and confirmed.

3. Booking Confirmation and Session Access

The booking platform will send the booking confirmation and session details to the email address provided during booking.

Please check your inbox and spam or junk folder.

If the confirmation or access details have not been received, contact care@christinelivingstone.com or submit a ticket.

4. Session Preparation and Intake Form

Preparation for a Group Session is carried out by Christine and begins 3 business days before the scheduled session.

Christine uses the information in the Intake form as and important part of the preparation.

The session-specific intake form is optional but encouraged.

Participants who submit their intake form in time for preparation will receive priority consideration for the requests or topics they submit.

Intake forms submitted after preparation by Christine has begun may not be able to be included in the session.

A participant may still attend the session without completing the intake form. Failure to complete the intake form does not qualify for a refund.

5. Participant Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or request rescheduling, contact care@christinelivingstone.com or submit a ticket before preparation for the session begins.

The standard cutoff time for cancellation or a rescheduling request is 3 business days before the scheduled session.

Once preparation has begun, normal participant cancellation or rescheduling is no longer available.

6. Gift Bookings and Ticket Transfers

A booking for a specific scheduled Group Session may be given to another person.

Gift bookings and ticket transfers are subject to the following requirements:

  • The purchaser must contact care@christinelivingstone.com or submit a ticket at least 5 business days before the session.
  • The purchaser must provide the booking reference in the confirmation email and the new participant's name and email address.
  • The new participant must contact care@christinelivingstone.com or submit a ticket to confirm acceptance of the booking.
  • The new participant is subject to all the terms herein.
  • No transfer or gift fee will be charged.

The gift or transfer is only final once the required information and recipient confirmation has been completed and Christine or her team have confirmed the change.

7. Session Attendance

Group Sessions begin and end at the advertised times.

Late arrival does not extend the session or entitle the participant to additional session time.

If a participant does not attend the scheduled session and no qualifying exception applies, the booking is forfeited and no refund or rescheduling is provided.

8. Participant Technical Problems

If an unexpected technical failure on the participant's side, such as a power, internet or device failure, occurs during the session and prevents meaningful participation or rejoining, one courtesy rescheduling may be requested.

The participant must contact care@christinelivingstone.com or submit a ticket within 3 business days after the event to request the courtesy rescheduling. If the request is not made within this period, the booking is forfeited.

No proof of the technical problem is required. This courtesy rescheduling is available once per participant.

The replacement session must be a suitable future Group Session and is subject to availability. It must be used within 30 calendar days of the missed session.

If the replacement opportunity is not used within this period, there is no refund or cash alternative.

9. If Christine Cancels a Session

If Christine or her team cancels a Group Session, participants will be offered the choice of:

  • a full refund; or
  • transfer to a suitable replacement Group Session.

This applies even if preparation for the session has already begun.

10. Changes to Date, Time or Online Platform

If the date or time of a Group Session changes, participants will be notified by email using the contact details provided with their booking.

If a participant cannot attend because of the date or time change, they may choose:

  • a refund; or
  • transfer to another suitable Group Session.

If the online platform changes but the session can still take place as scheduled, the platform change alone does not qualify for a refund.

Participants are responsible for checking their email for updated session information and access details.

11. Session Disruption or Non-Delivery

If a session cannot take place because of a problem that is the responsibility of Christine or her team, participants will be offered the choice of:

  • a full refund; or
  • a replacement Group Session.

If a session cannot take place because of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Christine or her team, a replacement Group Session will be offered.

If a session begins but cannot be completed, a replacement Group Session will be offered. Refunds for a partly delivered session will be considered individually.

12. Technical and Access Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and access to the online platform used for the session.

Christine may use different video-conferencing platforms for different Group Sessions. The applicable platform and access details will be provided with the booking confirmation or communicated to participants before the session.

13. Confidentiality and Privacy

Group Sessions may involve personal information or experiences being shared by participants.

Participants are expected to respect the privacy of other participants and must not share, publish or distribute personal information disclosed by another participant during a session.

Christine will treat participant information responsibly, but confidentiality between participants cannot be guaranteed because other attendees are independent participants.

14. Recording and Session Content

Christine may record Group Sessions for purposes connected with service delivery, administration, quality control or other legitimate business purposes.

Participants may not make their own recordings, screenshots, photographs or copies of a Group Session, or distribute session recordings or content, without Christine's permission.

15. Respectful Conduct and Removal

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward Christine, her team and other participants.

Harassment, abusive behaviour, deliberately disruptive conduct, repeated inappropriate interruptions or pressuring another participant to disclose personal information is not permitted.

Christine may remove a participant from a session if their behaviour seriously or repeatedly breaches these requirements.

Where a participant is removed because of serious or repeated misconduct, no refund or replacement session will be provided.

16. Prohibited Use

Group Sessions are provided for the purposes described on the applicable event page.

Participants may not attend or use access to a session primarily for research, investigation, competitive intelligence, copying or reproducing Christine's material or methods, or for malicious purposes.

Christine reserves the right to refuse or discontinue access where there is a reasonable basis to believe that a booking or participation is being used for such purposes.

17. No Minimum Attendance Requirement

There is no minimum number of participants required for a Group Session to proceed.

Christine may conduct the session even when only one participant has booked.

18. Booking Requirements and Policy Updates

Christine reserves the right to decline or discontinue a booking where necessary for legitimate reasons including capacity, participant safety, respectful conduct, or compliance with the requirements of the service.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The policy applicable to a booking will be the version in effect at the time the booking is made, unless a later change is required by law or specifically communicated to the participant.

By completing a booking, the participant confirms that they have read and agree to this policy.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any legal dispute arising from or relating to these services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

20. Contact
